From instant, individual streaming to a social event: this project aims to fight loneliness among the group most affected (21–26 postgraduates in London). With over 3 UK night clubs closing each week (NTIA, 2024), these underused social spaces present an ideal location. The app encourages socialisation before screenings through venue-specific group chats, while collectible movie-genre icons promote conversation, personal expression, and a sense of belonging that strongly resonates with Gen Z culture.
